Have Feelings: Some Reflections and An Invitation to Shape What’s Next

A Brief History of Have Feelings?

More than a year ago, Luke Scaros and I began Have Feelings?, a monthly, free, online space where people from around the world could meet each other, feel together, and socialize how they’re doing.

Over the past year, Have Feelings? has become a vibrant practice. Each gathering has been a gift. Each gathering is shaped by who shows up and what we create together with the feelings we "have." We’ve given, and felt, our joy, uncertainty, grief, playfulness, hesitation, and excitement, for example. We’ve supported each other to take on new performances of what and how we share with the group. We improvisationally try new ways of speaking, listening, and relating. It's been revolutionary and I love co-leading this group and co-creating it.

A New Year of Have Feelings?

Luke and I would like to continue Have Feelings? in 2026. We are committed to social therapeutics and to this group. We are curious about the possibilities that emerge when we build this group together. What new possibilities can we bring into being? What else can we create? These questions and questions like them prompted Luke and me to learn from our communities what else we can offer groups and how we can do so in the new year.

An Invitation to Share Your Opinions

Luke and I would like to learn more about who’s interested in continuing, who's curious about the group, how (often) people want to participate, and how/why Have Feelings? does/can serve you. We’ve created a short Google Form to help us gather that information. We'd like a large number of responses so everyone is invited to take a few minutes to complete the form.

👉 Please take a few minutes to complete the form and share it with others who might be interested:

Thank you for feeling with us this year. We are looking forward to what we can continue to build together.
