A gift from one of our group members
We recently received this testimonial from a participant in our monthly “Have Feelings?” group, and with their permission, we’re sharing it here in full:
“Attending the "Have feelings?" sessions has been a truly wonderful journey, one filled with discoveries about humanity, the self, and the power of togetherness. It’s a playful and curious exploration of emotions, responses, language, emotions and the many ways we cope with life in its purest form. This experience is transformative, powerful, and revolutionary. Most of all, it offers a space where growth and the joy of community are not only possible, they’re deeply felt. Sometimes, the ocean of life doesn’t seem so vast when we have such meaningful ways to understand that we’re all sailing the same waves. I can't wait for what's next to come! :-)
Our Response
We’re deeply moved and inspired by these words— not just for their poetic resonance, but also for how they celebrate our intentions and practices during each gathering: to make space for co-creating emotions, building collective vulnerability, and playfully experimenting with how we live and relate.
An Invitation to Our Monthly Group
“Have Feelings?” is a powerful, monthly, therapeutic environment and activity. Each gathering becomes its own improvised collective moment of being and becoming. Participants bring themselves, and who/what/however they’d like to give to us, and together we feel, laugh, wonder, and grow.
We started this group as an opportunity to practice social therapeutics and co-create development. What keeps it going are moments like this: honest words, felt connection, and the reminder that we’re not alone on the ocean of life. We’re learning how to sail together.
We’d love for you to join us for these free monthly gatherings. They take place on the final Tuesday of each month on Zoom from 4:00-5:30pm Eastern Time (US and Canada). You can sign up here. You can also check out a short video where we reflect on the development of our partnership and our monthly Have Feelings? group, And if you know someone who might be nourished by this co-creating space, we’d be grateful if you shared this invitation with them too.
Let's Connect (More)
We also welcome questions, offerings, or connections. Please feel free to reach out to Luke and Luke (yes, both of us—or “The Lukes,” as we playfully refer to ourselves!) if something sparks your curiosity. If you know someone who might be nourished by and interested in giving to this co-creating space, we’d be grateful if you shared this invitation with them too.
