Playshops
Come learn about and develop sessions on applied improv, play, and social therapeutics for personal, social, and community development!
Playshops
Playshops are excellent opportunities to explore and practice the principles of applied improvisation and social therapeutics and include four overarching and interwoven parts:
The method(s):
What is applied improvisation? What is social therapeutics?
Practice of method(s):
Experiential activities, such as: playing short-form applied improvisation games and long-form applied improvisation forms and creating social therapeutic conversations
Talking about method(s):
Reflections and wonders about our experiential activities
Building method(s):
Opportunities for practical possibilities for you and your organizations/communities.
Playshops can take a few modalities:
While playshops can be one-time events, people who attend and create them find that multiple sessions of a given playshop offer rich opportunities to learn, create, play, and develop together and facilitate transformation. Reach out and let’s explore possibilities.
