Frequently Asked Questions
Curious and want to know more? Here are some frequently asked questions.
What is a Connection Call?
It’s a free, thirty-minute, virtual (or phone) conversation between you and me. We’ll have time to get to know each other and see if and how we can work/play together. No obligation. Yes, connection.
Why do buttons say "Yes, and..."?
“Yes, and…” is a practice in improvisational theater (improv). When we say, “Yes,” we affirm and agree with what’s being offered, are curious about it, and wish to add to it. Clicking on a button that says “Yes, and…’ is like saying “Yes, I am interested in this offer AND I am clicking on this button to learn more, register, etc.” I say more about “Yes, and…” in my blog.
Why do you call them "Playshops"?
Well, we don’t work during these gatherings, we PLAY! And, we have too many words for work activity and not enough words that support adults to play. So, this is a playful disruption of the dominance of work in our lives. I say more about work and play in my blog.
What kind of coaching do you do?
I’ve been trained in and practice social therapeutic coaching. This approach supports building groups that explore how they wish to grow together. The focus moves from what individuals wish to do (a focus of life coaching) and here we practice collective development. I say more about social therapeutic coaching in my blog.
